The whale leaps,
As high as he can imagine.
Piercing the water from peak to peak,
Yearning for the sky that is reflected in its eye.
What if it learns of something far higher?
If it knew of the infinite glitter of the stars beyond the sky,
Would its dreams soar even higher?
